FIELD OPERATIONS
Volunteering for EDSAR Field Operations is physically and mentally demanding. It requires time for training and missions, team work, perseverance, resilience, and a strong sense of purpose. We are looking for:
Outdoor Enthusiasts: Join our teams scouring challenging terrain and conditions to find and help those in need. Physical fitness is essential for success.
"Base Campers": Prefer planning and coordinating over field trekking? Our Search Management Team needs thinkers and organizers. A passion for learning is key.
EDSAR Field Teams gather at Incident Command Post to receive a detailed mission briefing and search objectives.
AUXILIARY SUPPORT ROLES
EDSAR's Auxiliary Volunteers work tirelessly behind the scenes to secure vital resources so we can keep our operations running.
Grant Writers: Research and write grant proposals to secure funding for our operations.
Fundraisers: Organize fundraising events and campaigns to support our mission.
Digital Communications: Develop and implement fundraising campaigns and outreach strategies.
Content Writers: Write compelling articles and website content to inform and inspire donors and volunteers.
Graphic Designers: Create visually appealing materials, such as flyers, posters, and social media graphics.
Audio/Video Production and Editing: Produce and edit videos for training and to shine a light on what we do.
Public Events Coordinators: Plan and execute public events for fundraisers and community outreach.
Social Media Managers: Manage our social media accounts to promote our fundraisers and engage the public.
