ESARC's purpose and efforts include:
Fundraising: Working tirelessly to secure funding through donations, grants, and fundraising events.
Grant Writing. Identifying and applying for grants to support our operational expenses.
Financial Management. Ensuring responsible stewardship of our finances and resources.
Essential Equipment: Enabling the purchase and maintenance of top-of-the-line equipment used for missions and training.
Training and Development: Investing in ongoing training programs to enhance our team's skills and expertise.
Public Awareness. Educating the public about the importance of search and rescue and promoting safety measures.
Community Partnerships: Building collaborative relationships with local organizations to support other charitable initiatives.
ESARC is composed of five annually elected officers and two representative Directors for each EDSAR team. Each Council member offers a diverse perspective and contributes their unique talent to running a Council built on mutual respect and partnership and sharing a deep commitment to community safety. Council members must be active EDSAR volunteers and serve without remuneration of any kind. The Council meets the fourth Monday of every month and encourages any volunteer EDSAR member to suggest agenda items for Council review and consideration.
