This video explains Magnetic Declination and how it relates to the use of a map and compass. The correct figures are at 5 degrees, you will be off 0.09 miles (460 ft.) at 1 mile, .44 miles (2303 ft.) at 2 miles, and .87 (4606 ft.) at 3 miles.
